[edit] Curriculum

The school follows an American curriculum, which is supplemented to emphasize the international composition of its student population and faculty. Because of the size of the school most grades are combined (Nursery and pre-Kdg., grades Kdg. – grade 1, grades 2-3, grades 4-5 and grades 6-8). In addition to the core teacher there is a teacher assistant for grades Kdg. –8. All students take instruction in French, art, computer, music and physical education which are taught by specialist teachers. From grades 2-12 the science course is taught by a specialist teacher. The high school program is a combination of courses taught at ISC and completion of independent study correspondence courses from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
