International Indian School, Dammam

International Indian School Dammam is one of the largest schools in Saudi Arabia in terms of both population and size. The school was found in the early 1980's. The school has a strength of 13088 students and 550 teachers. It is affiliated to the CBSE and has all the three streams – Arts, Science and Commerce. Since the school has huge number of students, in 2006 an additional building was built near the original school. The new building is being used by the SECONDARY BOYS SECTION( classes 6-12), UPPER PRIMARY BOYS SECTION( classes 3-5) and the KINDERGARTEN. The current principal is Mr. E K Shaffee, preceded by Mr Mohd. Anwar. The school takes part in the Cluster Meet, along with INTERNATIONAL INDIAN SCHOOL JEDDAH, JUBAIL and RIYADH. It has a very strong team, winning in 2005 and 2006. The school has also excellent academic records. The result at Class X was 100% and Class XII was 99.7% in 2007. 576 students appeared at Class X, 49 secured above 90%, 187 above 80%, 154 above 70% and the remaining below 70%. In Class XII 315 students had appeared. 13 secured above 90%, 64 above 80%, 114 above 70% and the remaining below 70%.
