International Human Powered Vehicle Association

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The International Human Powered Vehicle Association is an association dedicated to promoting the design and development of human powered vehicles. It was founded in 1978 in the USA as an association of individual members with the publications Human Power and HPV News. Later the IHPVA split into two organisations, a North-American one for individual members, now called HPVA, and an association of national associations with more than a dozen chapters in North America, Europe, and Australia, still called IHPVA.
