International Film Music Critics Association
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The International Film Music Critics Association, also known by the acronym IFMCA, is an association of editors, journalists, radio hosts and reviewers from online and print publications who specialize in writing about original film and television music.
Currently, their main activitity is the IFMCA Awards, an annual "awards ceremony" which honors the best in film, television and game music in a given year, and is intended to be a more viable alternative to awards such as the Academy Awards and the Golden Globes, which are not chosen by professionals dedicated to the genre.
