International Defence Exhibition

The International Defence Exhibition & Conference, or IDEX, is a biannual arms and defense technology sales exhibition. In 2007, the 8th IDEX was held from 18 through 22 February 2007 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. According to the Jane's Defense Weekly website, IDEX is the largest arms exhibition in the Middle East. The business conducted at the 2005 IDEX totaled 2 billion US dollars.
