International Community School (ICS) was founded in 1993 by a group of parents from several different nationalities and walks of life. Their common goal was to establish a Christian school in Singapore to serve the needs of both corporate and missionary expatriates.

ICS is the only Christian international school in Singapore. It is a mid-sized school of more than 350 students, offering preschool (age 3) through Grade 12 (pre-university), and utilizing an American-based curriculum. United States citizens comprise nearly half of the student body, and the remaining students represent 15 additional countries.

The staff consists of over 40 well-qualified ICS faculty members coming mostly from the US; however, the faculty also represents graduates from universities in Canada, Australia, Singapore, and Sweden. Class sizes average between 15-20 students, allowing each student to receive a maximum amount of individual attention. The high quality of care and love for the students by our staff is among the many strengths of ICS. Our teachers are fully committed to excellence as well as to the development of the whole student – physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Teachers are involved actively in the students’ well-being through varied after school activities including Bible study programs. Our goal is to have an environment where Christ is modeled and taught.

ICS is a member of the Network of International Christian Schools (NICS), an interdenominational mission organization with its headquarters in the USA. ICS is fully accredited by both the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). It is also registered with the Ministry of Education (Singapore) (MOE).
