The International Bluegrass Music Museum (IBMM)) is a bluegrass music museum in RiverPark Center near downtown Owensboro, Kentucky, United States. The museum has inter-active exhibits, posters, costumes, live instrument demonstrations, and the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Honor. The museum has 2044 m2 (21,000 square feet) of exhibits and offices on 2 floors. As a non-profit group, the International Bluegrass Music Museum has raised funds with the help of famous bluegrass musicians such as Ricky Skaggs and Ralph Stanley.[1]
They host their own annual summer festival, ROMP (River Of Music Party), next on June 26 - 28, 2008. Jam sessions are Thursdays, Labor Day (September) through Memorial Day (May), and performances on Fridays.[2]
The museum is at 117 Daviess Street, Owensboro, Kentucky, and is open Tuesday-Saturday, 10 am-5 pm; Sunday 1-4 pm. Admission ranges from $5 to free. Telephone 270-926-7891 or toll-free 888-MY BANJO (692-2656).

The museum was incorporated in 1991 and opened year-round in 1995. In 2002 it re-opened after expanding.[3]

- RBI - Radio Bluegrass International is the 24-hour internet radio station provided as a service to members of the museum and to monthly subscribers.
- The Kentucky Bluegrass AllStars are a group of over 200 music students who take lessons at the museum.
- The Video Oral History Project (VOHP) videotapes the elderly first generation of bluegrass musicians throughout the continent. These interviews can be watched year round at the museum anytime during regular hours and at The Bluegrass Masters Film Festival which takes place during the annual June fund raiser called ROMP.
- Bluegrass in the Schools (BITS) puts instruments into the hands of students and teachers in elementary schools in Daviess County, Kentucky.[4]
- "Banks of the Ohio", a radio program by Fred Bartenstein on WAMU and the Internet.[5]
