International Association of Travel Agents Network

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

International Association of Travel Agents Network (IATAN) is an industry association designed to represent the interests of their member companies.

In addition, they (along with the IATA) are the body responsible for the standard international codes for airlines, airports, hotels, cities, and car rental firms (for example, the three-digit codes that designate London Heathrow Airport as LHR). These codes provides a method to link international travel network with internations suppliers.[1]
