International Association for the Cryospheric Sciences

The International Association for the Cryospheric Sciences, or IACS, is the eighth association of the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics (IUGG). It was launched by the IUGG Council on 2007-07-04 as a successor of the Union Commission for the Cryospheric Sciences (UCCS).
