International Associateship is a prestigious membership grade of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, UK.
It is awarded to senior psychiatrist upon the nomination of two of their peers and a revision of the RCPsych Education, Training and Standards Committee for the psychiatrist accomplishments. Specifically, International Associateship may be awarded to psychiatrists with at least five years’ experience in psychiatry who do not hold the MRCPsych, but who hold a specialist qualification in psychiatry recognizable by the college and who reside outside the UK and Ireland. And have to be proposed and seconded by two full Members or Fellows of the College.
