International Anthony Burgess Foundation

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The International Anthony Burgess Foundation is a UK charity set up to back research into the life and achievements of the influential 20th-century novelist Anthony Burgess. It is housed in a Victorian-era villa in Withington, Manchester, England, very near Burgess's birthplace.

Here is to be found an extensive collection of books from Burgess's massive library, along with the writer's own musical instruments, and many of his scores and manuscripts. The site is open to the public, and scholars can take advantage of the library and archives.
