[edit] Bio
Aptly monikered, it would be nearly impossible to categorise Interlock as they fuse elements of metal, rock, industrial and dance to create a tight and utterly unique sound. With a dedicated fanbase across the United Kingdom and beyond, the band have performed nationwide with acts as diverse as Mendeed, Electric Eel Shock, Mortiis and Queen Adreena. Formed in 1997 by John Tyrell and Syan, their aim was to transcend genre boundaries to create an entirely new sound – and they succeeded.
At the start of 2005, they were signed to Indie label Anticulture records and in May of the same year, they released their debut full-length album crisis//reinvention in the United Kingdom. The album earned the band critical acclaim from such magazines as Powerplay and Terrorizer (Interlock also won ‘best unsigned band’ in the Terrorizer 2005 readers poll). In February 2006, they released their skinless remixes EP.
