The 21st Annual Intercolegial de Baile, held in several cities in Mexico.
This was one of the biggest years for Intercolegial de Baile, with more than 2,800 contestants from 31 cities of Mexico, 125 groups that competed, and 30,000 people who saw the event.

- The national competition was held in Veracruz, Veracruz on May 26, 2007
- Querétaro became a new host city for "El Bajio" replacing Leon.
- For the second time, the national competition was not held in Mexico City.
- The Kids Category had its first National Competition.
- The National Competition was going to be held in the Teatro de la Reforma, but for climate and air-conditioning problems, the competition was held in the Auditorio Benito Juarez.
- Cancún became a new host city for "Reto Peninsula", replacing Merida.

- The group "Mojado" from Torreon, Coahuila won 2nd Place in the National Competition and 1st Place in Monterrey. It was the first time that Coahuila was represented in the National Competition. They also competed in 2004, 2005 and 2006 in Monterrey, winning 4th Place in 2004 and 2nd Place in 2005 and 2006.

The national competition was held in Veracruz, Veracruz on May 24th, 2007. 14 states competed in this competition. The states of Coahuila & Quintanna Roo debuted in the national competition for the first time, after several years of competing on the regional competitions.
