The first issue was released October 15, 2005, the second released March 1, 2006, the third was released October 2, 2006 and the fourth was released February 20, 2007. Since the fifth issue in July 2007, new issues have been released quarterly.

The first issue offered seven stories, including the cover story "Respite", "Mazer in Prison", a story by Card from his Enderverse, and Hot Sleep, a serialized novel by Card. The second issue offered eight stories, "In the Eyes of the Empress's Cat" being the cover story, with "Pretty Boy" from the Enderverse, a story by Card about Bonzo Madrid. The third issue, the first edited by Edmund R. Schubert, offered seven stories, with Tim Pratt's "Dream Engine" as the cover story, and with Card's short story "Cheater" about Han Tzu from the Enderverse]. In addition, the third issue included two young adult stories by David Lubar, "Hats Off" being released with the issue and "Running Out of Air" to be released on November 15th.
