[edit] History

Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. (Inter-Con) was founded in 1973 with the goal of developing and implementing comprehensive security programs custom tailored to our clients’ needs. Over thirty-four years later, Inter-Con is a leading U.S. owned security company, providing a full range of physical and administrative security services to government and commercial customers on three continents. We are an industry leader in functional areas of security in several geographic markets, and enjoy wide recognition for our work in the field of customized, high-requirement security.

Beginning with the security effort for NASA’s Space Shuttle program, Inter-Con has effectively developed, implemented, and managed security programs designed to address the precise needs. As the company grew from an 8(a) Small Business to compete in the “full and open” arena, Inter-Con used its experience to develop specialized, high requirement security services to the Department of State (DoS), diverse NASA installations, the U.S. Military, and significant commercial clients.
