From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
IntelliCorp (IC) is a Santa Clara, California company that provides, develops, and markets SAP application lifecycle management, business process management and data management software for SAP customers and partners. IntelliCorp’s LiveCompare, LiveModel, LiveCapture, LiveMonitor and DataWorks tools, as well as its Assessor Template Package applications, deliver automatic intelligent impact analysis of SAP systems and are SAP Integration Certified. More effective and more efficient than traditional approaches to impact analysis, our software boosts individual and team productivity and reduces the time, costs and risks associated with SAP lifecycle events, such as upgrades, support packs, audits, landscape synchronizations and consolidations. Founded in 1980, IC marketed an early expert system environment (Knowledge Engineering Environment - KEE) for development and deployment of knowledge systems on the Lisp machines that had several advances features, such as truth maintenance. While moving KEE functionality to the PC, IC created the first object-oriented technology for commercial programming development environments. The company was also one of the UML Partners, a consortium which helped develop the standards for UML, the Unified Modeling Language.
