[edit] Biomedical Research Foundation

The article Biomedical Research Foundation has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. -- JLaTondre 22:15, 14 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] December 2007

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from RAF. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. nancy (talk) 08:23, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

Please do not delete content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to BRI, without explaining the reason for the removal in the edit summary. Unexplained removal of content does not appear constructive, and your edit has been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox for test edits. Thank you. nancy (talk) 08:26, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to BRF, you will be blocked from editing. nancy (talk) 08:28, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you delete or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia, as you did to Raf, you will be blocked from editing. nancy (talk) 08:32, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Vanity editing / vandalism

You have been temporarily blocked from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.

Ian Cairns (talk) 17:10, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "Alexfusco5 has deleted random parts of my edits to the article Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. He has deleted 11 out of 12 names that were included in the list. Therefore, I added the names back again. However, this was viewed as vandalism."

Decline reason: "The names should not have been added into the article, which was why they were removed; however that was not the main problem, which was repeated blanking and disruptive edits of articles despite a number of warnings which can be viewed above. Please edit in accordance with Wikipedia's policies when your block expires. — BLACKKITE 18:17, 16 December 2007 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:BRIShreveport.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:BRIShreveport.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 18:39, 1 April 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MECUtalk 18:39, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
