Hi, I'm Garnett T. I'm a Canadian citizen, currently living in Red Deer, Alberta. Wikipedia is one of my hobbies, so that's why I'm here. I'm also a member of The Doom Wiki, and my page for it can be found here.

I was born March 28, 1986, that makes me an Aries born in the year of the Tiger. I'm a RHETI Type 6 if you really want to know. I'm a fairly open-minded person, an atheist, heterosexual, and generally an easy-going guy. I like spicy food, seafood, breakfasts, black coffee, and martinis.

I am a firm believer in Flying Spaghetti Monsterism.

I play guitar (6-string, 12-string, acoustic and electric, bass), multiple keyboards, including piano, organ, and synthesizers. I also play harmonica and Feadog and do recording and editing using GarageBand, Audacity, and Ableton Live. I'm also pretty handy with ReBirth and doing MIDI sequencing. You can hear my music at my MySpace account.

[edit] Things I Like

While I havn't been the frequent writer/editor I used to be (mostly due to college work), I insist that every Wikipedia article to closly resemble something I would expect to see in a professional encyclopedia (Britannica, for example), therefore I adhere to the following while writing and editing:

  • Neutral POV, I'm strict on this one. I don't like opinionated articles.
  • Good spelling and grammar, even though I'm known to break these once in a rare while.

[edit] Things I Dislike

  • "You"; when the Wikipedia is talking to a person. Breaks POV and personalizes an article.
  • Vandalism; I can't stand to see an institution like this degraded in any way.
  • Aesthetically unpleasant articles, where paragraphs need to be combined or reworded.
