I disagree that Insomnium is similar to Katatonia. At least the only album I heard "Last Fair Deal Gone Down" was more like a Rock than Death Metal or Melodic Death Metal. If the other albums are the same, then I think that Katatonia should be removed from the Similar sections. Anyone disagree with me?

I agree or disagree with you too, if you mean, that Insomnium obvious does'nt sound like Katatonia. All works, that i've heard of Insomnium is definately not closely to what Katatonia has ever done. Furthermore influences ranging, from early Amorphis, early Paradise Lost, mid-period Tiamat (and especially from the alltime-classic Wildhoney), Sentenced, Opeth. But probably (or rather actually) they (who adding Katatonia to the similar/influencing-artist box) may be confused, with Opeth, cause Mikael growls on the Brave Murder Day. But actually, if they borrowed Opeth, it however, does'nt mean they also by force, went on to became influenced by Katatonia.
