[edit] eponymous
I don't understand eponymous. Is it the insects or the short story that are supposed to be eponymous? If the former, the sentence seems wrong.

[edit] Deleted section
The following section was deleted last month (by an anonymous user); however, it should've been moved to the talk page. If a reference can be found for it, it should be restored to the article:
[edit] The Shan's "temple-ships"
The Shan travel through space in a ship shaped like a pyramid. Their arrival is often accompanied by a strange buzzing sound (though they can choose to be quiet if they wish). These pyramidal ships were built by a civilization vanished long before the ancestors of the Shan crawled from the deep ocean vents to experience the flow of electromagnetism. These abandoned ruins allowed the newly emergent Shan to experience communion with the Nuclear Chaos (Azathoth) at the center of the universe. This unholy communion eventually mutated the species in several astonishing ways.

[edit] Opera
Question: The opera presented here (something "Requiem per Shuggay") is presented as if it is real, but I have an inkling it's a Lovecraft invention. Which is true? Applejuicefool 23:09, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
