[edit] Merger proposal

To merge with HMS Delhi.

  1. Strongly agree. It's the same ship before and after independence. Should also add in HMS/ HMNZS Achilles - same ship. Folks at 137 07:48, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
  2. Don't see any particular need to merge - all the information at HMS Delhi is already here except for Delhi being "a city in India" though I would have expected the fact that it's the national capital would have been taken as read! Just replace the HMS Delhi content with a redirect here. Don't support adding in the detail of its life as Achilles, as its UK/NZ incarnation is distinctly different from its Indian existence, and interested readers are advised of the existence of the other article at the top of the page. -- Arwel (talk) 20:13, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
    1. PS 5 months late: Just realised that this merger would have been incorrect anyway. This ship was never known as HMS Delhi -- for a few years after Indian independence, before the country became a republic, she was HMIS Delhi. -- Arwel (talk) 20:47, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Armament

Info about the armament of INS Delhi during her indian service would be very useful, specially the light anti-aircraft artillery. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.121.182.158 (talk) 17:20, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
