Insurgents Cemetery

The Insurgents Cemetery is the oldest cemetery in Belgrade, the capital of the Republic of Serbia. It is located in Karadjordjev park in Vracar. The cemetery contains the bodies of insurgents killed during the siege of Belgrade in the First Serbian Uprising in 1806. Of the graves of 50 insurgents, buried without coffins and arms, 12 tombstones remain.
