Instruction Through Film is the title of a DVD released in 2007 by the American rock band Daniel Amos on Stunt Records.
The two hour film was edited together from a variety of home movies, interviews, television appearances, rehearsals, promotional films and other footage filmed between the early 1970s and early 1990s.
The film starts out with a short clip from the 1971 short film, Son Worshippers in which band member Terry Scott Taylor can be seen as a teenager performing on the steps of Sproul Hall at University of California, Berkeley. From there, the film includes performance footage from the mid 1970s, to rehearsals for the Cornerstone Music Festival in 1987. Of Special interest to fans is the 1987 album cover shoot for the band's landmark Darn Floor - Big Bite album.
The film also includes cameo appearances by Michael Knott, Ojo Taylor, Gene Eugene, and others.
