The Institute of Technical Education & Research, Bhubaneswar' (commonly known as ITER) is an autonomous engineering and technology-oriented institute of higher education established in 1996-1997. Located at Jagamohan Nagar, Jagamara, Bhubaneswar, India. It is 6 km from the Bhubaneswar Railway station, and 3.5 km from the Airport.It is a constituent college of "Sikhsa 0 Anusandhan" deemed university.

The admission to various courses is done on the basis of rank secured in the SAAT for engg./medical. Also some seats are alloted on the basis of rank obtained in AIEEE conducted by CBSE.

Hostel facilities are available for both gents and ladies. For first year students there are separate hostels. Food is available in the dining rooms located in the hostels itself.
