Institute of Islamic Research and Teaching
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Institute of Islamic Research and Teaching was set up by Aafia Siddiqui, and her husband Mohammed Khan in 1999 while they were students at MIT.[1] Siddiqui is wanted for questioning by the FBI in connection with possible threats of terrorism.[2][3] She is now separated from her husband, who is no longer sought in the United States.
On October 3, 2005 the Internal Revenue Service listed the institute among the charities that had not been able to establish or maintain their charitable status.[4]
