Institute of Engineering and Technology is a private institute of higher education and advanced research in engineering situated in Lahore and Islamabad/Rawalpindi,Pakistan. It also offers different courses in affiliation with Allama Iqbal Open University.

Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), a private sector institute of higher education and research was established in 2000, it started its first program of Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunication in collaboration with Allama Iqbal Open University. It was the first private sector institute in Pakistan to start a Telecomm engineering program.It has branches in Islamabad/Rawalpindi and Lahore. Currently it is running a number of graduate and postgraduate programs in the areas of engineering, business administration and computer science in collaboration with Allama Iqbal Open University.It is also one of the top institutions of technical education and vocational training and has been recognized by Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority,(TEVTA) Pakistan.

• Institute of Engineering and Technology ,( I.E.T) started the oldest (after NUST) and largest Telecommunication engineering program in Pakistan in affiliation with Allama Iqbal Open University.
• The curriculum is regularly updated keeping in view the advancements in technology.
• The institute has well equipped labs for teaching and research purposes and a well stocked library.
