Institute of Contemporary Chinese Studies

The Institute of Contemporary Chinese Studies is located at the University of Nottingham, England. It is situated in China House on the University Park Campus. It is an interdisciplinary institute studying the commerce, culture, and society of China, and promoting links with that country. It was officially opened on the 15 June 2000 by His Excellency Mr. Ma Zhengang, the Chinese Ambassador to the United Kingdom.
The Institute as been awarded "School" status. From the 2007 academic year it will be known as School of Contemporary Chinese Studies.
