Insect-related deaths in Arizona
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Recently reported findings show that approximately 56% of all deaths in Arizona are in same way insect related. The study was commissioned in response to the large number of retirees establishing residency in the state. Researchers conducted a survey of over 50,000 deaths reported in the span of 3 months. Circumstances surrounding each death were catalogued and tabulated, with the complete statistical breakdown submitted for publication. Five of the top examples of insect related deaths were:
- driving accidents instigated by insect caused distraction
- insect bites from poisonous species
- accidentally choking caused by swallowed insects while sleeping
- heart attack induced by insect related terror
- accidental poisoning from insecticides
