INpulse
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
INpulse is a prepaid service provided by Verizon Wireless which was previously known as FreeUp. Another option that used to be offered from Verizon was called EasyPay which was a monthly payment plan without a contract. One notable feature of the INpulse plan is that Verizon allows prepaid customers to take advantage of their nationwide, unlimited IN calling program, which means they can call any Verizon prepaid or postpaid customer at any time for free.[1]
On October 31, 2007, Verizon announced two new INpulse plans, in addition to their original offering. Each of the three new plans charge a daily access fee ($0.99, $1.99, or $2.99), with a lower per-minute or per-text message rate for each tier. The new plans also gave INpulse customers access to Get It Now, where they could download videos and other multimedia features through V CAST.[2]
