I Just removed the line "Of course, Sai didn't really think so, just said he did." from the end of the first trivia bullet. If anyone would like to make sense of this line, or justify its existence, say so and I'll put it back. Blademaster313 21:39, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
I also cleaned this talk page up a bit. Blademaster313 21:47, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
What should be added in the part two section about the new ability she has shown in the most recent chapter?
- Can someone fix the image under the Chunin Exam arc, because the image doesn't belong there, it's a screencap from a FILLER episode (some lame episode) that an over-stimulated shikaino shipper put there. It's pointless to pretend like there are shikaIno moments, but it might as well be placed in the filler section of the page, because that's the only place for it.
Oh please, overzealous ShikaTema fans are constantly putting unnecessary tripe on Shikamaru and Temari's wiki pages. I highly doubt a picture showing how Ino's jutsu leaves her body incapacitated is what you should be complaining about.
-
- Really now? Haven't seen much of that. If people are so desperate to want to see a picture of Ino passed out on the ground, why not feature the image in the correct arc section..and not a filler. And shikaino fans being desperate enough to sneek Shikamaru in doesn't cut it.
- Who gives a damn if the picture is from a filler arc or not? Honestly, you guys are being ridiculous. Also, stop editing other people's comments, indent your comments, and sign your posts. // DecaimientoPoético 21:08, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
- Gave 70.108.198.163 a little reminder on his talk page not to edit others' comments, even on good faith >_> -- Seraphchoir
- OK, my comments are indented. I haven't edited anyone's comments, no matter how stupid they sound. What's more ridiculous and pathetic is seeing people post made-up tripe about Ino...she plays a minor character, people.

I've just removed a large paragraph at the end of the first section, which was entitled 'Ino and her Teammates'. It was littered with bad grammar, a hoard of spelling mistakes, done by someone with an obviously atrocious grasp of english. It even had ridiculous amounts of a flippant tone wtih plenty of subjectivity throw in, off the top of my head the last line was something like, 'I won't go into the timeskip arc. I think Ino-Shika-Cho team is the best. Their bonds only gets stronger'. Black Sharingan 15:03, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Requested move
Yamanaka Ino → Ino Yamanaka – As pointed out in Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Anime_and_manga#Naruto_character_article_titles, the current names for articles about Naruto characters are inconsistent with the names used for other anime characters (Naruto characters use Japanese order for names, while most other anime characters have their name in Western order), as well not following the naming guidelines in WP:MOS-JA.
DO NOT COMMENT HERE. Please participate in the centralized discussion at Talk:Uzumaki Naturo

[edit] Mrs. Yamanaka
Be aware that when Sakura came to the Yamanaka flower shop to get Sasuke a flower, Ino told her "MOTHER" that she was gonna help Sakura get a flower for him. User:SoundPound500000 September 26, 2006 6:00 P.M.
- It's not like she wouldn't have a mother. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 23:21, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Current/Previous Teams
Someone has added "Niju Shotai (Choji Akimichi, Ino Yamanaka, Aoba Yamashiro and Raido Namiashi" to the current team thing in the infobox when we already have a current team. S/He has also added it to the Shikamaru, Choji, and Asuma pages. They can't have multiple current teams and since the Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke, etc. articles put their Part II teams in Current Team and their Part I teams in Previous Team, shouldn't we do the same here?
P.S. - What does Niju Shotai mean? Sasuke-kun27 21:55, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
- First: Niju Shotai. Second, I don't see a problem with both Team Asuma and Niju Shotai being listed as current teams, as Asuma and Shikamaru have had that distinction on their articles for a month or two now. Also, why can't they have two teams? Is it impossible to be a member of two different organizations at the same time? Can a high schooler not be part of the school band and the track team simultaneously? ~SnapperTo 23:14, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
-
- They were backup, though. There's no indication that they were any solid team. It's like all the teams Naruto has been sent with over the course of the series. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 23:18, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
-
-
- It seems overly likely though that they were all together as members of the Niju Shotai. For one, there were four of them, which I would imagine is how many of the 80 members are put into each of the 20 teams. Second, as you said, they were backup; who else but the Niju Shotai would be roaming the Land of Fire at this point in time? And finally, who else but another group of Niju Shotai would they request as reinforcements (as seen in chapter 324)? I realize that this is all just speculation, but it just seems fairly obvious to me. ~SnapperTo 23:37, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
-
-
-
-
- Well maybe, but it's just as likely they had to send leftover ninja because they were too divided by that point. In either case, I would assume it's just a temporary affiliation, and the infobox is pretty crowded as is. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 23:46, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

-
- It is isn't it? I should bring up the topic of spring-cleaning some time. In any event, I'll let the Niju Shotai thing go. If ever they are stated to be members, and if the infobox has enough room to warrant the membership (assuming it's decided to be added), then I'll reiterate that I see no problem with having two current teams. ~SnapperTo 23:57, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

- About the two teams thing, I meant the three man cells. Sorry if I wasn't clear on that. Also, if Ino is part of the Niju Shotai, shouldn't she be listed on the article? Oh, one more thing, my Part I teams in the previous team section and the Part II teams in the current teams section question (see top of discussion) was left unanswered (just pointing it out). [edit] Ino and Medical Jutsu
Can someone tell me when Ino used medical jutsu because I don't remember her using any. I remember Shikamaru or someone telling her to do it, but Asuma was dyeing and he told her it doesn't matter so she didn't. If she never used it, than maybe people should get rid of the mystical palm on her jutsu list. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.218.140.250 (talk)
- You're correct in saying that Asuma told her it would make no difference, though only a couple panels afterwards (next page maybe?) she tries anyway and confirms that her medical abilities can't save him. ~SnapperTo 00:27, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
-
- Besides, why should Shikamaru tell her to use it if she isn´t able to do so? He should know her abilities well enough. -- Felcis 00:46, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
-
-
- The problem wasn't her abilities, but Asuma condition. He was hitted in 4 vital spots (Sakura was hitted in just 1 and Chiyo wasn't able to save her with only medical jutsu), probably even Tsunade couldn't save him. But there was no way Shikamaru knew exactly where Asuma was hitted. - Access Timeco 15:08, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

- Ino has the ability to use medical jutsu. In the last episode of the Naruto I anime it was shown that she wanted to learn medical jutsu after she felt useless in the last mission, where all of the rookie nine plus team Gai (minus Tenten) were involved.Punker9000 20:20, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hiragana
Just an "interesting" thing I noticed, but didn't quite understand. Does anyone know why Ino's first name (and her father's) are the only ones not written using Kanji or Katakana, as opposed to everyone else's? --Hecko 01:46, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Ino learning medical healing
i have added this in the 1st paragraph,as she DID really learn medical ninjutsu please dont remove this ISNT false information, trust me ive read up to the part she uses it

- Two things: 1) Please sign your posts with ~~~~. 2) Although your addition to the article is well-appreciated, I removed the sentence as it is mentioned about two paragraphs later. // PoeticDecay 22:58, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Medic-nin
Ino is training to be a Medical Ninja like Sakura. So please stop taking the Medic-nin away from her rank. 216.54.173.224 03:08, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- Not counting the one filler scene, there is absolutely no hint that she is still training, nor any hint that she holds any rank of the kind. Get your facts straight before demanding things. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 03:28, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
-
- She did use healing jutsu on Asume in chapter 328. I'm not sure if that'd make her a medical ninja, however. I bet Kakashi and Orochimaru are capable of the same technique as well. –Gunslinger47 05:46, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- I agree with Someguy0830. As parallel, academy students are training to become ninja, but they shouldn't be labeled as such until they complete their training. –Gunslinger47 05:39, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
-
- If that is the case, then why is Sakura labeled Medic-nin 216.54.173.196 13:19, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
-
-
- I'll argue both sides here, and let the rest of you decide ^_^
-
-
-
- Sakura trained under Tsunade, one of the most accomplished medic-nins revealed in the world of Naruto. Her skills are unrivalled to even anybody within Sunagakure, as demonstrated in the Rescue Gaara arc. It can be said that Sakura has pretty much inherited what she could from Tsunade. Ino, however, has demonstrated a fat zero of her medical talents so far. If the anime fillers can be taken into account, then Ino supposedly trained under Sakura (correct me if I'm wrong), which would make Sakura superior to Ino in terms of experience. Hence, Sakura can be qualified as a medic-nin, while Ino has demonstrated nothing to show her medic-nin status aside from saying she knows medical jutsu.
-
-
-
- On the other hand, Naruto's skills may surpass even Kakashi. Considering his ability to form both chakra form and nature manipulation, his talent and capabilities surpass even the Jonin level of ninja. Yet officially, he is still a dinky little Genin. The same could be applied to Sakura and her medical jutsu skills, in which case Sakura wouldn't qualify for medic-nin status just like how Ino doesn't. Officially, this makes Sakura "Tsunade's apprentice", not "medic-nin".
-
-
-
- So, folks, what'll it be?

-
- If you want to discuss Sakura's rank, you should take up the conversation over on her talk page. –Gunslinger47 21:08, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
-
-
-
-
-
-
- Nuh uh, this one is actually relevant here, because as far as we know, officially Ino's "rank" could be equivalent to Sakura's "rank", medic-nin-wise. If we can reach a consensus onto her rank, that can determine Ino's as well.
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
- However, you do make a point that it's probably more valid over on Sakura's page. Linked accordingly from the other side.

More or less settled on Sakura's talk page. Neither of them are technically medic-nin yet. -- Seraphchoir 14:35, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
she can't be called a medical-nin yet because she's still in training but she knows basic medical jutsu —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jackjohnson15 (talk • contribs) 20:01, 16 May 2007 (UTC).
[edit] Renaming Body Switch and Body Disturbance.
I don't understand why her jutsus are named Body Switch and Body Disturbance Technique. When the real names are Mind Transfer Technique and Mind Confusion Technique. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by El Suavee (talk • contribs) 15:43, 10 May 2007 (UTC).
- We use the literally translated Japanese names for jutsu. The English anime isn't far enough to use English names for jutsu. Sephiroth BCR 17:44, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Ino's and Sakura's Name
Just one question: Who was foolish enough to change all "Ino" words into "Pig"? Have reversed it... Can someone give me the answer, please! Put it on my talk site too, please. Mary C. 23:55, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ino and Shikamaru
Why do people think these two will get together? Ino likes Sasuke (although he hates her) and Shikamaru loves Temari. There should be a mention that they only like each other as friends and teammates so people don't get the wrong idea. 61.39.160.130 06:11, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
- That's not really our responsibility. There will always be ShikaIno fans, or NaruNeji fans or whatever regardless of any effort we could make here on Wikipedia to avoid it. –Gunslinger47 01:45, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
It has never been stated that Shika loves Temari and we have no idea what the real relationship between Ino and Shikamaru is. Maybe they're just friends, maybe not.
-
- Ino don't like such guy as Sasuke anymore, she is greater than that! Anyway, Ino and Shikamaru are different (to example: Shikamaru is lazy, Ino is energetic)
[edit] Ino has her own article?
Whoah, whoah, whats going on here? Since how come Ino gets her own article and the rest of the Konoha 11 (bar Naruto Sasuke and Sakura, naturally) don't? MightyKombat 08:28, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, I don't really get this either. How does Ino warrant her own article when she's done considerably less than other characters, like Choji? Hell, even Sai and Yamato have done more than Ino at this point. 214.13.209.200 11:48, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
Indeed. I spose there are two weays to settle this
Merge Ino back (The most probable action)
Or give the rest of the Konoha gang their own articles (Unlikely but could be done)MightyKombat 12:25, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
Yes, this is strange, we should ask snapper2 and sephiroth what its going on. Tintor2 16:25, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
I vote that Ino, Choji, and Sai should have their own articles. Each of these characters have played a vital role at some point in the series. Without these characters some of the missions that we're accomplished would not have even been a success. Also believe Ten Ten and Hinata deserve their own as well, but my primary concern is that at least Ino, Choji, and Sai have their own.Mcelite 15:24, 4 December 2007 (UTC)mcelite
- "Vital" is opinionated, especially with Ino; she has done nothing of value since her brief stint during the Chunin Exams. If you can find conception and reception information on any of these characters, then you can try discussing giving these characters articles. ~SnapperTo 23:04, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Ino's role
SnapperTo if you are really this lame, don't show it to the others! Ino have done more than you could imagine! If you forgot - Ino is the main reason for Sakura to be so confident! —Preceding unsigned comment added by U is for Unity (talk • contribs) 21:34, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
