Of course he is notable - the article already mentions his awards and states that back in the 1960s and early 70s he was the first with serious applications of artificial evolution, which today is widely used in a million applications. Unfortunately he does not have an English web site - this one is in German: http://www.bionik.tu-berlin.de/ . Should we link to this one? Algorithms 15:44, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
