Ingues

Ingues is a fictional character in the anime Macross II. He is the supreme emperor of the alien Marduk.

He appeared as a white skinned human looking individual wearing a golden colored armor that covered his body. He was physically merged to his massive flagship that appeared as a mobile battlestation and was advised by a quartet of advisors who themselves were merged with the ship. He was considered a godly figure among his people and commanded them to exterminate all enemies of the Marduk. His motivation was that only conquest would bring about order to a chaotic universe and that the Marduk were destined to rule existence.

He led his people on a frontal offensive against the UN Spacy where he commanded his Emulators to sing the Songs of War and Death to annihilate his enemies. This was partly because of his fear of the mythical ship known as the Alus among his people. Ingues believed that the ship rested on Earth and wished to destroy this single threat to his rule.

He did not tolerate disobedience from his followers and would punish them by destroying the ship containing the offending individuals, be it warriors or his peoples Emulators. His forces would lay siege to Earth itself with the intent on destroying all alien life on it, however, the plea from the Emulator known as Ishtar caused hesitation among the Marduk race. This, combined with Ingues own 'punishment' of his people resulted in a massive rebellion among the Marduk fleet which turned their firepower against Ingues flagship.

Before his death, Ingues was infuriated at how his people dared to attack 'their god' after which the flagship was destroyed.
