Ingrid Moses

Ingrid Moses is an Australian academic and university administrator. She is the current (since 2006) Chancellor of the University of Canberra, Australia.

She migrated to Australia from Germany in 1966 as wife of Dr John A Moses. She then held various part-time positions while raising her family. From 1977 to 1988 she was a Graduate Assistant, Lecturer and Senior Lecturer in the Tertiary Education Institute of the University of Queensland. She was Founding Director of the Centre for Learning and Teaching at the University of Technology Sydney 1988-1993, and Professor of Higher Education from 1990. She also was Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic) at the University of Canberra from May 1993 to June 1997. From 1 July 1997 until 7 January 2006 she was Vice-Chancellor and President of the University of New England in Armidale, New South Wales.
