Ingrid Hjelmseth (born 10 April 1980) is a Norwegian football goalkeeper. Originally from Oslo, she has been the Norway national team's second keeper for many years, and played for Trondheims-Ørn for 7 seasons while at university, with 217 appearances for the club. League winner 2000/01/03. Cup winner 1999/2001/02. Returned to Oslo at the start of 2007 to start work as a professional engineer with DNV, joined Asker SK. Had a good 2007 season but a knee ligament injury in June probably kept her out of the World Cup.
