Inglemoor High School is a public high school located in Kenmore, Washington. It is one of the largest high schools in the state of Washington and has an average of 23.4 students per teacher. Inglemoor's feeder schools are Kenmore and Northshore Junior Highs and Arrowhead, Kenmore, Lockwood, Moorlands, Shelton View, Sunrise, and Woodmoor Elementary Schools.[1] In addition, Inglemoor annually accepts many waivers from other districts due to the popularity of its International Baccalaureate program[citation needed] .

Students at Inglemoor have a reading proficiency of 88.7% and a math proficiency of 75.2%. Math scores have steadily risen in the past four years[when?], and reading scores have made a comeback[when?]. Inglemoor students consistently score higher than the average district and state student.[2]. In 2007, Inglemoor was honored as a No Child Left Behind Blue Ribbon School, one of only 238 public schools nationwide to be honored, for its consistent, high performance in reading and math[1].

In the Vancouver Heritage Festival of 2007, five of Inglemoor's instrumental groups and three vocal groups all won First Place Gold in their respective categories[citation needed], sweeping all of the sections they entered in[citation needed].

76.7% of Inglemoor students are White/Caucasian, 14.9% are Asian/Pacific Islander, 4.7% are Hispanic, 2.5% are Black, and 1.2% are American Indian/Alaskan Native. [3]

In the Northshore School District where Inglemoor is located, the median household income is at $99,252 compared to a state median of $67,098.[4] The median home value is $410,375[5] compared to a state median of $160,737[6].

Inglemoor's sports teams play in the KingCo 4A conference, and in many cases use Pop Keeney Stadium, located in Bothell, WA, as their home field. The Swim and Dive team has earned three state championships[citation needed].

Recent events include "freak dancing" during the 2006 Homecoming dance, which resulted in the cancellation of the two Tolo dances and possible banning of dancing at the Prom, which was not cancelled. [7] The cancellation of the April Tolo was revoked.
