From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ingham (also known as Ingham Station or Ingham's Station) is a ghost town in southeastern Brown Township, Vinton County, Ohio, United States.[1] Of this small mining community, very little remains: mostly foundations, rubbish, and filled-in mine & tunnel entrances.[citation needed] During its peak, several buildings were located in the community: a train station/general store/post office, schoolhouse, tipple, power house, and several private residences.[citation needed]
William N. Jaynes was postmaster from March 25, 1903 until mail was discontinued on April 30, 1904, when it was sent to the Mineral post office.[2]
