[[1]] The INFAMOUS DESIGNERS are a group of four Fashion Designers studying at Massey University Wellington, New Zealand. The INFAMOUS DESIGNERS, also known as 'ID5' each have very different identities and characters, each has a very different upbringing, ideals, and views - on life and design. Their diversity makes their design work very different from one another. The INFAMOUS DESIGNER’s lives and ideas are a large part of their work, and are documented on their website Infamousdesigners.com [2] and www.myspace.com/infamousdesigners [3]. The documentation is through image and word.

The INFAMOUS DESIGNERS are:

Kate Pastiche: Born 1985, in South Africa, to South African parents. She moved to New Zealand in 1995. She now resides in Wellington.

Kiri Arcane: Born 1985, in Texas, U.S.A., to a Norwegian Father and New Zealand Mother, she lived in Norway until she was 13, after which she moved to New Zealand with her mother. She now resides in Wellington

Jo Melange: Born 1985 in New Zealand to German parents, has lived in Levin and Germany, she now resides in Wellington.

Joel Occult: Born 1983, in New Zealand to English parents has lived in England and France, he now resides in Wellington.
