Is there a way of accommodating more than one power station on the same site? Portishead, for instance, had two: one opened in the 1920s and the other in 1950s; and they closed about the same time. If '1920s & 1950s' is added to the opened= box, then the logic gives an establishment date of '1920s & 1950s' which is not helpful. Again, on a two power station site one might be coal only and the other coal and oil; so can this be accommodated? On the railway station info box, a sequence: event=, date=, event1=, date1= works, but I'm hesitant to try it on this power station infobox. Pyrotec 19:23, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
- An example of where this has been used for a multi station site is Didcot Power Station - It has the commissioning date for the earlier of the two stations in the infobox, and it could have the commissioning date for the CCGT plant (B) in the text (and as a manual category), if I could find a better date for it. - Ratarsed 08:15, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

- Thanks Ratarsed for your reply. I do like the power station infobox; and it fills a gap, as there was no power station info box. My problem was that it was slightly too intricate for me and it is not quite as flexible as I would like. Below I copied and pasted the Glasgow Central railway station infobox and partially modified it for Portishead power station. It looks a bit silly because it is part power station and part railway station, but it has the ability to show more history. The down side is that it has no intricate features; so what is done automatically on the current power station infobox template will not be done unless an author(s) does it manually. I'm not sure if station A, station B, station C is a universal naming convention for concurrent or successive power stations on the same site; but my thought was to try and modify the power station infobox template to be able to accommodate A, B & C stations.
