Why?
Why does this template exist? Can't we just use Template:Infobox University instead? It's much better designed and laid out. --Matthew 05:41, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
Free Label
What is the "free label" tag supposed to do? I can't seem to get it to turn into a useful tag, nor can I seem to get rid of it. Would anyone mind if I just took it out entirely? Hersfold (talk|work) 15:52, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, many people would mind. It is a user definable tag. For an example of its use see Westford Academy. It is very helpful.—WAvegetarian•(talk) 01:05, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
Merger Proposal
I just added the tag to the page; here's my rationale for merging: Template: Infobox Education in the United States and Template: Infobox HighSchool are both very descriptive and adequate infoboxes. However, they are largely the same and it causes a lot of confusion, not to mention inconsistency, when editors use one or the other irregularly. Template: Infobox Education in the United States has considerably more descriptive and appearance options and is more attractive, as well. Merging the best of the two templates would remove the inconsistency and create an overall better infobox. I thought it would be a good idea to propose this, rather than just carry it out, since both templates are so widely used and important within school articles. Tserton 03:29, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
No instructions
I assume "Head" is for the principal's name. What is "Campus" for? Is there a proper for the homepage field? What text to we give to the link? -Freekee 05:09, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
