I hope someone actually reads this. This police department template doesn't seem to be working for a lot of pages, at least not correctly. It won't display the parts past "Chief of Police". They seem to work fine here, but on NYPD page, it doesn't display the commissioner part at all, and same for the Boston Police page, which I changed to a standard template... I wish I knew more to fix it, but I don't, hence this shout in the dark. Nam1123 04:10, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

I fixed the template and the NYPD page. I also added superintendent-in-chief, just for Boston, if you want to use this template again. Cmcnicoll 09:52, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

• I am not sure that the template needs a commissioner as well as commissioner(s). The point of the (s) is that some dept.'s could have two. Having both isn't hurting anyone, it's just unneccessary to have commissioner. I have a feeling that this addition was for the NYPD, which probably draws a lot of searches. Maybe some people would be confused by commissioner(s), and not know that the template is made for multiple dept.'s. Cmcnicoll 18:15, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
