The Camera Infobox is provided as a means to describe the functional aspects of a camera. It is intended to provide a means to describe still image or motion picture cameras utilizing any kind of image sensor, whether it be chemical (silver halide), for instance) or electronic (CCD or CMOS). It is intentionally broad to provide a means to describe most given cameras.

camera_model

The model name of the camera, exclusive of the name of the manufacturer.

image

A wikilink to an image box, including the caption if applicable, 280px wide.

manufacturer

The name of the company or individual who built the camera, with wikilink if availible.

camera_type

Is this a still image camera, a motion picture/video camera, or some combination thereof?

sensor_type

The type of sensor used to record the image. Analog/Digital CCD/CMOS, or Film. Specify if using multisensor process such as Technicolor or 3-CCD.

sensor_size

The size of the image sensor. Provided physical for film (35mm), or physical/megapixel for digital.

recording_medium

The means by which images are recorded. Film, VHS Casette, DVD, SmartMedia, CompactFlash, Hard Drive, External (Such as television studio cameras).

lens_system

The means by which the lens is incorporated, can be built-in or interchangable. Plese be descriptive.

focus_type

The means by which the camera is focused. Please do not omit manual focus; this is not availible on every camera. Possible values include Automatic, Manual, and Fixed, and can be combined.

shutter_speeds

Range or list of availible shutter speeds.

f-numbers

Range or list of availible f-numbers.
