[edit] Buddhist denomination?

When I made an infobox for Buddhist teachers Template:Infobox Buddhist teacher, the question came up for me and others about the proper term for what Christians call "denominations". Usually, we say "schools" of Buddhism, but then there are schools within schools, if you will. I don't care for terms like "sect" and the like, since those terms can be rather loaded with some people.Nightngle (talk) 20:49, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Recognition

How about adding a line to the template to add information about who recognised the individual as the reincarnation. This information is useful but especially so with the Karmapa controversy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.134.7.50 (talk) 12:55, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
