[edit] Shelf life

I changed shelf-life (SL) to Time durability (TD) as it applies to both non-rechargeable as rechargeable batteries. I repaired all entries I could find that had previously filled it in: Silver-oxide battery, Lithium ion battery and Lithium ion polymer battery. Nannen 14:30, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

I appreciate Nannen's intent to make the 'shelf life' terminology applicable to both non-rechargeable as rechargeable batteries; however, most people know what 'shelf life' means, (at least here in the USA), while it's not sufficiently clear what 'Time durability' means. With all due respect to Nannen, I suggest using terminology that is more clearly defined (with it's own wiki page), for example 'Shelf life'. Mikiemike 03:57, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Nominal voltage

Would it make sense to add a single cell nominal voltage entry to this? For example:

chemistry nominal voltage (at 20°C)
Alcaline 1.5v
NiMH 1.2v
NiCD 1.2v
Lead acid (flooded) 2.1v
Lead acid (AGM, VRLA) 2.105 V
Lithium 3.6v

I like it. Included in rechargable battery --Nopetro 12:11, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
