{{Infobox opera}} is the standard infobox for articles about individual operas, and is within the purview of WikiProject Opera. Please discuss major changes on the talk page before making them.

There is a general but mild consensus at WikiProject Opera that this infobox should not be used. See discussion here. Please gain consensus before using it. However many opera composers have an infobox listing their major works, such as Template:Verdi operas - see Category:Operas by composer templates for a list.
