  • Parameter notes:
    • With the exception of name, do not delete a parameter - leave the field blank if there is nothing to enter. If the article name is the same as the the name to be used for the infobox, name can be removed.
    • For multiple items in one field, separate each with <br />. For example: creators=Stan Lee<br />Jack Kirby
    • The image field is setup use the file name only and with out braces. For example: image= example.jpg
    • The imagesize parameter is set up to only accept a numeric value. If left blank or if a sting (such as "225px") is entered, the image will default to 250px wide.
      • If you find the image to be too tall, reduce the size below 250px.
      • The parameter is capped at 250. Entering values grater than this will result in the default setting being used.
    • The 'caption will appear below the image. Keep it short, but indicate the comic book and issue # if it is from a comic book, in the form Wolverine #17 (typed as ''Wolverine'' #17))
    • Date should the release date the publisher has stated the series or src will start. References should be provided for this field.
    • Series, mini, arc, and crossover are logical fields for indicating the type of project the article covers. Some can be used in combinations yielding:
      • series — "Ongoing series"
      • mini — "Limited series"
      • arc — "Story arc"
      • crossover — "Crossover event"
      • mini and crossover — "Crossover event to center on a limited series"
      • arc and crossover — "Storyline to run through multiple ongoing series"
    • Sort is use with {{future comic}} which will place the article in Category:Discussion of future comics. It can be changed to force a different sort in the category. This parameter will not recognize a leading space.
    • Since this template stacs a metawiki tag, hatnotes allows for hatnotes to be inserted between the tag and the infobox.
    • NonUS is a logical notation for items that were published using British instead of American spellings. At present this only affects the "Colorist/Colourist" field.
  • This template is intended to be replaced by either {{Collectedarcbox}} or {{Supercbbox}} when the project actually begins publication.
