A Wine producer is a vigneron, negociant, wine merchant or other wine business that may attach their name to wines. Infobox Wine Producer may be used to summarise information about a wine producer.

  • name – is the name of the wine producer. Don't include links here, as this goes in the caption at the top.
  • image – An image for the producer, e.g. an insignia. Given in the form of "example.jpg" (don't specifiy any size, caption, etc and don't prefix Image: on it).
  • other name – other names for the region.
  • wine regions – all regions in which producer operates
  • type of producer; i.e. Independent or Negociant, etc.
  • year – year that the producer was established or began producing wine.
  • part of – if this company is a subsidiary of another, it can be listed here.
  • subsidiaries – list subidiaries here.
  • owner – where this is more appropriate than part of.
  • location – Location of head office or town of vigneron
  • total size – total size of the region. Please indicate units. in the indicated units
  • vineyards – total number of vineyards. Include those growing grapes other than V. vinifera
  • wineries – number of wineries owner by producer
  • wine produced – total production of wine (including production using grapes purchased). Indicate units
  • techniques – List any techniques the producer is uses for all wines. e.g. Organic production, No fining.
  • notable wines – Lists of any parcels or bottling for which the producer is particularly renowned
  • 'comments – the year the above data is valid for, try not to mix years.
