[edit] Notes

  • In the updated field, If the player is retired, put N/A in this field. Use the date of the previous Monday that the ATP or WTA updated player's stats.
  • Include Height with metric value, and Career Price money in US Dollars.
  • For weight, use one of the appropriate conversion templates.
  • Singles and Doubles titles include only titles won on the WTA (women) or the ATP (men) Tour, not the ITF circuit (the tier below). Titles won on the ITF Circuit can be included in brackets.
  • The Grand Slam results and Grand Slam doubles results sections shows how the furthest the player has got in the Grand Slams, and it what year(s).
  • The singles and doubles career record only includes matches won and lost on the ATP or WTA Tour only.

[edit] Microformat

The HTML markup produced by this template includes an hCard microformat, which makes the person's details parsable by computers, either acting automatically to catalogue articles across Wikipedia or via a browser tool operated by a reader, to (for example) add the subject to an address book. For more information about the use of microformats on Wikipedia, please see the microformat project.

Date-of-birth ("bday") parameters will only be included in the microformat if {{Birth date}} or {{Birth date and age}} are used in the infobox.

hCard uses HTML classes including:

  • adr
  • bday
  • county-name
  • fn (required)
  • honorific-prefix
  • honorific-suffix
  • label
  • locality
  • nickname
  • note
  • org
  • role
  • vcard

Please do not rename or remove these classes.
