This shows {{Infobox NYCS}} with all possible parameters. The functionality of many of these parameters overlap; thus, the infobox should never be used as displayed here. Rather, it is best to cut-and-paste the following code and fill in the necessary parameters only.

[edit] Local station

This is a typical infobox configuration describing a local station. This code assumes that the station

  • is not ADA-compliant
  • is on a single line
  • is not on the BMT Broadway Line (the infobox heading text defaults to white, while BMT Broadway Line stations must use black)
  • lacks free transfers to any other subway line
  • lacks connections to commuter rail or important buses

In addition, it assumes that the article

  • does not have an image file representative of the station
  • uses only one line color

After inserting into an article, edit the code as necessary, inserting missing parameters if needed.

{{Infobox NYCS
| name =
| bg_color =
| line =
| service =
| platforms =
| tracks =
| borough =
| open_date =
| north_station =
| north_line =
| north_service =
| south_station =
| south_line =
| south_service =
}}

[edit] Express station

This is a typical infobox configuration describing an express station. It makes the same assumptions as the local station code above, except it has provisions for identifying both the next local station and the next express station, both of which are assumed to not be ADA-accessible.

{{Infobox NYCS
| name =
| bg_color =
| line =
| service =
| platforms =
| tracks =
| borough =
| open_date =
| north_line =
| north_local_station =
| north_local_service =
| north_express_station =
| north_express_service =
| south_line =
| south_local_station =
| south_local_service =
| south_express_station =
| south_express_service =
}}
