This Infobox House may be used to summarize information about a notable house, particularly a historic house. For houses listed on the National Register of Historic Places, please use the Infobox nrhp template. The possibility exists that a house contained in an article and not currently on the National Register of Historic Places may later achieve listing on the Register. In this case, the Infobox House template facilitates easy transferring to the format used in the Infobox nrhp template.
