All fields in the template are optional, however it is encouraged to use as many as possible to optimise the reader's navigation.

[edit] Variables

• image - The image variable is for the logo or marketing display image used in the applicable year's Grammy Awards. Please note this is not to be substituted with the generic Grammy Awards logo A photo is acceptable here if it is a free image. Other than logos, non-free media should not be displayed in this field.
• imagesize - This variable is only to be used when the image variable is used. The image will default to 220px wide as a maximum. If the logo image used is smaller than this, the editor should enter the width of the image in this field.
• caption - Any caption required for the image used for the infobox may be noted here.
• date - This field should have the date of the event listed. This should be entered in wikidate format, i.e. [[YYYY-MM-DD]].
• venue - The venue and location of the presentation event should be entered into this field.
• host - The name of the host of the event should be listed here.
• network - The network that originally aired the event is to be listed here (note: international airing or other syndication of the event is not applicable).
• last and next - These variables are only to be used when both are available. These refer to the years prior to and after the event, navigating to the applicable Grammy Awards years' article.
